Allegations against People in a Position of Trust	In April 2024, Section 1, What is a Position of Trust was updated to include people that provide regular coaching, teaching or instruction in sport or religion.
Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SAR)	In April 2024, a new section Safeguarding Adults Reviews and Rapid Time (SARiRT) has been added.
Progressing a Concern to a Section 42 Enquiry	In April 2024, this chapter was renamed from ‘Responding to a Concern’ and locally reviewed. Additionally, a new section ‘If the Adult has Died’ was added, containing information previously located in the chapter Disclosure and Raising a Concern.
Cuckooing (Forced Home Invasion)	In April 2024, this new chapter has been added to the Safeguarding Adults Practice Guidance section.
Independent Advocacy	In April 2024, information about independent advocacy was added as a separate chapter.
Overarching Aims, Duties and Principles	In April 2024, this chapter was reviewed locally.
Modern Slavery	In April 2024, this replacement chapter was added to the Safeguarding Adults Practice Guidance section.
Care Act Statutory Guidance Case Studies	In April 2024, the chapter replaced ‘Process Maps and Case Studies’.
Deciding Whether to Submit an Adult Safeguarding Concern	In April 2024, this new local chapter was added to the Safeguarding Adults Core Procedures section.
Allegations against Service Providers (including Organisational Abuse)	In April 2024, Section 6, Making Enquiries was updated to provide greater clarity about the responsibility of making enquiries.
County Lines	In April 2024, this chapter has been fully reviewed and refreshed in line with updated Home Office guidance ‘Criminal exploitation of children and vulnerable adults: county lines’.
Disclosure and Raising a Concern	In April 2024, this chapter was reviewed locally. Additionally, Section 6, If the Adult has Died was updated to clarify that a concern should still be raised if the death may have been as a result of abuse or neglect.
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)	In April 2024, this chapter was reviewed and refreshed. This included adding information about training and links to statutory guidance and other resources.
Undertaking a Section 42 Enquiry	In April 2024, this chapter was locally reviewed.
Mate Crime	In April 2024, this chapter was renamed ‘Mate Crime’. It has been fully reviewed and refreshed. Information about cuckooing (also known as forced home invasion) has been relocated to a new chapter.
Prevent – Safeguarding Adults against Radicalisation and Violent Extremism	In April 2024, this chapter has been replaced with a revised and updated version.
